Very light & thin synthetic fibre tissue that has been factory 'doped' with a totally fuelproof and waterproof resin.  Airtight, waterproof, and fuelproof 'as ironed on'. For use as a superior replacement for regular tissue/dope. Litespan is about three times as strong and puncture resistant as regular doped tissue.

Uses a separate adhesive (Balsaloc - a water based emulsion) that is applied to the model framework, allowed to dry, and then the Litespan ironed on.  Applied to sheet balsa wood, Litespan provides a quick method to make the wood surface smooth  and paintable.
