As of 2nd June 2008, the way we send our parcels and therefore our postage rates will be changing. All orders under £25, or orders of single items such as single crystals will continue to be sent using a Royal Mail First Class service. However some smaller heavier items under £25 will be sent using BusinessPost (E.G.. Blade 400 Power Supply) All orders containing multiple items or single items with a greater value of £25 will be sent using a BusinessPost Next Working Day service. These packages and parcels will require a signature on delivery, so please bare this in mind when entering a delivery address. If you are unavailable to sign for a parcel a card will be put through your door. Any parcels that cannot be delivered due to the customer not being there to sign for the parcel will be taken to the nearest BusinessPost depo for you to collect.  We will deliver to work addresses upon instructions of the customer. We cannot be held responsible if there is no-one to sign for the parcel.

The new rates for orders over £25 will be;

Small Packages - £4.99 - Receivers and Servos, orders of multiple items
Medium Packages - £5.99 - Engines, orders of multiple items
Large Packages - £6.99 - Larger Engines, Large orders of multiple items 
Extra Large Packages - £7.99 - Radio sets

Plane and Helicopter kits will be sent using BusinessPost Next Working Day delivery and prices will vary from £9.95 - £14.95 depending on the size of the model. Exact prices can be calculated upon request.

There are a variety of other services available such as Saturday Delivery and Guaranteed Morning Delivery at extra cost.

All orders received before 1PM will be dispatched the same day. Orders received on Saturday & Sunday will be dispatched on Monday.

Channel 4 Models was established several years ago by John Walby who has a wealth of experience in the model trade having had two model shops in Essex (Radio Active) which he started in the early 70s. He then went on to start a factory manufacturing model accessories (Radio Active), a kit manufacturing business (airwave) and a balsa mill (Balsa U.K.). A keen model flyer and builder he is now joined by his son Jamie, to whom we owe this website, who has also become a partner in the business.

Our aim is to have a very comprehensive stock and to supply model kits and accessories at competitive prices.

Some of the lines we stock that you cannot find on the website are die cast models, plastic kits and electric trains to name just a few.

We accept all major credit and debit cards. We can also accept payment by cheque. If you choose to pay via cheque please note that goods will not be dispatched until the cheque has cleared. If credit card is your preferred method of payment, we will only charge your card when your order is ready to be dispatched.
